Hunter's Waterfowl Portrait with Pintails

Hunter Easley is a serious young hunter and member of Decoy Outdoors pro staff. We set this scene up to capture the drama of the hunt experience by adding some of the water to the scene and painting a pair of passing pintails and a bird in hand. Hunter's pretty handy with his Mossberg. Painting youth hunters has to be a favorite for me. The lessons learned in the field as a youth are priceless to me today, and the fond memories of sport afield with my friends are the basis of happy reflections. I hope to paint many more trophy portraits of young outdoor enthusiasts like Hunter.
