This abstract artwork was created in black india ink and colored acrylic ink. The artwork was used in promotional posters for a performance of the Broadway play Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat. This artwork was executed by coating cotton string with the ink then pulling it across the paper and snapping it to get the interesting patterns. It is difficult to control, but the results make for interesting images. I have recently finished a series of these works and will be posting them soon.
