A.J. Wood is an avid outdoorsman who loves to paint outdoor memories. He has fished from Alaska to New Zealand. He counts the experiences on the water and in the field with his family and friends as priceless. He also loves his time at the canvas recreating those memories.

 

An accomplished, award winning commercial and fine artist, A.J. has work exhibited worldwide. He has created everything from micro printing, to giant trade show exhibits and massive murals. In recent years he has taken his artistic talents back to his outdoor roots, creating a series of freshwater fish paintings, and opening his portrait studio where he focuses on painting the things that people are most passionate about.

 

A.J.'s portraiture has recently gained favor with collegiate sports. In 2008 he painted more than 25 collegiate hall of fame athletes for special display collections. He is currently working on paintings of some of hunting and fishing's greatest legends.
